There is no particular hurry for this at this time as Libssh 0.10.x is still in support, but it will need to happen eventually.
Notable changes in 0.11.0:
Libssh 0.11 drops DSA support so we may still want to make a backend based on libssh 0.10.x available for users who need DSA support for whatever reason.
Implemented proxy jump using libssh - perhaps this will allow us to implement proxy commands now?
Added ssh_channel_request_pty_size_modes() API to set terminal modes for PTYs
Added function to check username syntax
Added callback to support forwarded-tcpip requests
Added support for +,-,^ modifiers in front of algorithm lists in options - something to document?
If getting 0.11 working on Windows XP isn't viable we'll need to continue shipping 0.10.x for a while - possibly in parallel to 0.11?
