Average payoffs are only relevant in the case of an interior equilibrium (i.e., coexistence of altruism and selfishness).

Do we care about plotting average payoffs? I opened this issue a long time ago after a discussion with Mark (I think) and have no idea if this is still relevant. If we don't care about such plots, then I will close the issue.
