3 months ago I wasn't able to reproduce the crash with the 至上 vocab.
Would you be able to install the TestFlight beta from https://testflight.apple.com/join/Fijye2AA? It'll give you the option to send a crash report to the developer (me) when it crashes, and I'll be able to get more information.
The beta also has some other crash fixes which might solve your issue anyway!

On version 1.32.1055 of the application for iOS (on my iPhone 11, iOS v14.8.1) the app crashes after getting some review items wrong. I thought it was the skip feature that was causing this, but getting a vocab wrong (至上) with cheating and skipping turned off, it still crashes. It only crashes on some items, but not all. This bug is catastrophic and as much as I appreciate the new features, cannot even use the app for its intended purpose anymore. I will also send a email to the developer with the local database export. I sent it to me@davidsansome.com
