  1. we should predict data at 1 mm to test the model -- are there data at 1 mm against which we could compare, from OVRO or elsewhere?

Would it work in the other direction too? You could try to predict 70 microns and then we could match the observed 70 microns to the 100 micron resolution to compare. There might be an excess due to stochastically heated dust that your modified blackbody model wouldn't predict, but we could do a rough correction.
