Search indexing freezes, when Android block display #57

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Try to find something in new downloaded module.
2.Choose to create index.
3.Don't touch anything. Wait 5 minutes (really enough to get indexing done).
4.Unlock screen and you'll see, that indexing is at same level, when Android
switched off display.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Indexing must be done.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
HTC Desire. Android 2.3.3 (CyanogenMod)

Please provide any additional information below.
And yes. Option to create index is very useful. Don't remove it. Because there
is couple non standard modules (Russian, for example), for which you can't find
indexes in repository. Maybe also some other users use non-Crosswire
repositories.

This is still a problem in version 1.1.1 and 20120120. The creation of search
index freezes when screen goes black, but continues when you turn the device
screen on. I would suggest the search index is always downloaded with the
module if it exists.

Or provide a settings option in And Bible to prevent timeout display switch off
while And Bible is being used.

For tablets (longer battery life than phones?) this would be quite practicable.
