compile static version for chroot jail #250

1. Install on a chroot jail'd version of apache, such as godaddy

2. Won't run because shared libs not found

3. Reconfigure to build static (./configure --enable-static --disable-shared) 
still produces dynamically linked executable

Would prefer to have a single executable file to upload and run as user that 
has no external dependencies.  Also want something built as generically as 
possible (i.e. such that it will work on most any linux kernel).
