Sorry to use this place for a suggestion

You made more than great job done... I can C an amazing future for the product,
Your team and
You personally... GREAT... more than Great...

suggestions:

1. Why not ENABLE AppleTV for external USB drive in the next version of
patchstick?
2. It will be amazing to see independant application - part of XBMC (menu
driven) which will
enable copying of files from MAC to XBMC designated folders on AppleTV or on
external USB HD
connected to AppleTV...

I am serious audiophile... I use AppleTV toslinked to outboard Meridian D/A
converter which
feeds more that 50.000EUR worth Audiophile hi-end audio...

I made presentation of XBMC for a group of friends of mine and 5 of them
purchased AppleTV
"the same day"... All of them will use it as audio server...

I am playing with XBMC for a week or so...
Still didn't resolved all issues and still learning...
Betta testing:):):)
APE not playing!!!
When I am sure that everything works I'll install XBMC to all of friends of
mine...
There are more than 30-50.000 audiophiles around the globe so there is a great
potentials for
some taillored sw version just for audiophiles...

Thanks again for the great job done...

The most of people is testing video usability, and my focus is on Audio... If
it that sense I can be
of any further assistance you can contact me on my Email - Alex@net.yu...

regards
Alex

1) in the plan for a future version
2) we will see after the xbmc release.

APE audio is known issue. There's a compile problem right now.

Thanks for your reply...

I tried to post and make some coments on
http://xbmc.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=56 but it is said that i
have no authorization... can you check account for account: "applicat".

In the meantime I have a question so maybe it's even better to post it here>

1. How patchstick that installs XBMC compares with the one which can be
purchased i.e. ATVFlash? Is it the
same ssh opening and the difference is just what sw it installs (NITO or XBMC)?

2. aTVflash v. 3.3.4 comes with NITO 0.6 and includes XBMC... So the
difference between in just that it ads
NITO???

3. If we use "your" patchstick and ads NITO do we have the same environment
installed??? So if one ssh ATV
and installs XBMC using "your" installer and ads NITO latter is this the same-
and free?

3. It is said that NITO TV alone opens USB on ATV for external HD... So if
someone installs NITO it will open
USB for external HD...??? Can we benefit from this opening looking from the
XBMC point of view? If after
opening we delete NITO - does the USB extrenal HD options stays availlable...
Or can we use NITO and XBMC
without conflict on the same ATV? This way NITO is the simplest way to open USB
HD...

Best Wishes for your amazing project!!!!

Regards
Aleksandar Zivkovic

1) We use dropbear for ssh, others use openssh. If you have ssh installed then
XBMC Launcher can be
installed manually. We are 100 percent legal. Others might or might not.

2) yes.

3) yes

4) once NitoTV patches/installs for external USB support it stays until the
AppleTV is factory restored or
updated.
