Factory Restores #412

AppleTV has release 3.0.  I'm at 2.4 and running the patchstick update. 
Can you tell me if I ever need to perform the Factory Restore of my AppleTV
will it automatically be updated to AppleTV 3.0 or will it know to restore
back to my same version?

Your factory restore takes your firmware back to factory settings. Depending on 
the
age of your ATV it can be something from 1.1 to 2.4.

It won;t be automatically if you don;t want it. Just check the settings in your 
menu.
