What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use AppleTv 3.0.1
http://mesu.apple.com/data/OS/061-7491.20091107.TVA31/2Z694-6004-003.dmg
2. Create patchstick (atv says AppleTv 2.x)
3. Fails patch - no change to AppleTv after Boot

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Boxee in menu

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
OS X 10.4.11, AppleTv 3.0.1, ATV USB creator 1.0.b10

Please provide any additional information below.

You haven't provided any exact information as to why it fails. Try putting the 
patchstick in the Apple TV and holding Menu and - keys for 6 seconds. This will 
force the recov process.

Ok.  I will try that.  What if I try creating the patchstick in windows?

You could give it a go but there is nothing wrong with the Mac version.

I was finally able to create the patchstick.  Followed the directions about 
installing on AppleTV but Boxee is not 
listed on the menu page.  Just Software and under it says 3rd party plug ins, 
Manage built-in, scripts, restart 
finder and settings.  I am so close!
