What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. created a patchstick with the latest windows installer
2. boot the AppleTV
3. there is no IP-address assigned by DHCP & telnetd not started

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
- local login promt
- when using a usb keyboard I can login manually
- then I can assign an IP address with ifconfig
- then I can start telnetd

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
- atv-win-3.0.zip
- AppleTV which was originally shipped with OS 2.x

Please provide any additional information below.
- I needed the patchstick to repair a broken recovery partition

Hey,

The project of atv-usb-creator is to deliver payloads to aTV and install
software.
It uses the atv-bootloader project. Take a look at building a more flexible
patchstick at http://code.google.com/p/atv-bootloader/, as your request is out
of
the scope of this project.
