ATV will not boot after patch #523

I created and installed the patch OK - there were no error messages.
Am using an 8 Gigaware Drive
I power cycled the ATV but all I got was a black screen saying "no video"...
ATV drive is flashing orange...

Any advice?

Also, I cannot get the ATV to reboot using the Menu / down keys etc. on the
remote... I am confident the ATV is
picking up the remote signals because the light on the front sees to fluctuate
in response to button presses....

Am using DVI out to the monitor!

Thanks

Odd.

Are you saying that the problem was caused after you patched aTV?

Try holding Menu and - for 6 seconds. This should kick off the recov process.

Make sure you've removed the USB stick - you only need it to initially patch.

Yes - basically, after patching I was unable to reboot.... However, this AM I
was able to do a Factory Restore,
reapplied the ATVUSB patch and everything is working as advertised.... so
thanks very much for the help and
insights.

Best Regards.
