3rd party apps software menu problem

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. go to software menu
2. navigate and select "3rd party"
3. error notice is given

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected the 3rd party apps menu to open, but instead I get the message....
An Error occurred, please press play/pause to restart your apple tv.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
apple TV 3.0.2, OSX 10.6.3

Please provide any additional information below.
I had issues with Blank menu screen, solved with advice from Issue 429,
now i'm having this problem, any help?
I have restarted the device several times with no remedy.

Is 3.0.2 even supported yet? I can't find any info on this here......
