Software menu crashes ATV

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install patchstick
2. update sofware menu to next indicated version
3. update dowmload, installs then gives an error and reboots finder and 
software menu is gone

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected an update of software menu.Got a crash and reboot of finder and the 
menu is gone. All other menus are there (Boxee etc)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
atv usb creator 1.0 b13  and ATV 3.0.2

Please provide any additional information below.
Can update all indicated files (Boxee, XBMC and NIto smart installer) but nut 
software menus to the latest version

This is a third party bug and not supported by us. Please speak to Thomas Cool 
(developer of Software Menu) as he may have a resolution for you. SoftwareMenu 
is not bundled any more so it sounds like you are using a very old patchstick, 
most likely a pre 3.x compliant one which is why the software is not working 
correctly.

Happened to me too, in latest version of patchstick not a "very old" one.
