Black screen instead of apple tv menu

Hi, I created the patchstick with the latest version of atvusb-creator and 
installed xbmc, boxee and atvflash plugins apparently without problems. After 
that, I synced some Music and when I looked back I got the pictures mosaic. 
Pressed menu and got a black screen. It seems like it is working ( can hear the 
sounds when pressing button on the remote), but nothing on screen.
I rebooted several times and see the Apple and then the presentation video, but 
no menu after that.
ITunes on my iMac recognizes the apple tv and can sync without problems.

What did go wrong? How can I solve this? Can it be restored as an iPhone?

Press menu and - at the same time.... After a while you get a menu to go back 
to the fabric settings!
I had that problem also.... but still finding out what is going wrong.....

same problem, macel hass with boxee eventually said it was usb stick i used -- 
not convince after reading these and related black screen comments and will 
wait till things seem to be sorted

restore and re-patch. Don't install any other plugins besides xbmc and boxee.
