Stuck on Apple Logo and blinking amber light. #545

I hacked my 160g atv in Jan this year and has been working great until recently 
when its stuck at apple logo with blinking amber light. Didn't do any downloads 
or updates to suspect any wrong doing. Its responding to 'menu' + '-' and 
restarts, but again returns to apple logo and blinking light without prompting 
the restore menu. Tried the cosmetic things like swapping/reconnecting the HDMI 
and Component video connections.

I'm still able to connect to atv disk through ssh and putty. 

I tried atv-win-3.0 patchstick couple of times again with both ATV OS 3.0.1 and 
3.0.2 hoping to bring it back to life. Script runs fine without any errors but 
still no luck. 

Pls help.
