Dear, please help me.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

I'm using windows, in the usb image tool:
1- i press restore button to chose the .img file
2- then the progress bar starts to run till it finishes without any
notifications that the restoring is complete.
3- after the progress bar finishes, it comes back empty and nothing else
happens.
4- i put the usb stick into my 160 GB apple TV, its software version is 3.0.2.
5- if i unplug the power and plug it again, nothing happens as if the stick is
not attached.
6- if i press the menu + "-" buttons for a while, the apple tv restarts and the
apple logo appears on the screen, the screen flickers then the apple tv asks me
about the language. after that i got a screen that gives me the 3 options
"restart", "run diagnostics" and "restore to factory sittings".
7- i tried to chose "restart" once with the flash drive is attached and once
without, and nothing happens.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected to see the linux logo instead of apple logo while installing the
patched firmware + some text on the screen, but nothing happens and the
firmware is not patched

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
i'm using atv-win-3.0.zip on windows XP professional SP2

Please provide any additional information below.

kindly give your support ASAP.

thanks
