Not Adding Menu and Launcher After "Successful" Hack #568

First off, I have a 1st generation Apple TV that runs on the 3.0.2 software. I 
just got it today. A little late, I know.:)
I was able to create a patchstick succesfully, and was able to load it onto the 
APTV successfully as well, meaning I get no errors, and get a message to go 
ahead and reboot the APTV. In addition, I am given a password (frontrow) in 
case that is of any importance. The problem however is that when I reboot my 
APTV, after unplugging the USB stick first and then unplugging the power source 
and then plugging it back in after 3 minutes, nothing is added to the menu. It 
still looks the same as before, so no "software menu" and "launcher".

Can someone please help me figure this out. :)
