Black screen after installing some updates on apple tv

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Installed patchstick and loaded onto atv without problem
2. When I restarted I first updated launcher, then downloaded boxee and xmbc.
3. Next I went to the menu on the very left which was software i believe and 
starting downloading the browser, and then got an error saying to restart apple 
tv.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?  Did that and all I get 
now is a black screen although the screen saver will kick on.  There is a 
flashing yellow light when I restart the atv but it disappears once it 
restarts.  Can I reset it or how do I fix the problem?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?  Using the 
latest downloaded from here as of today, 1-14-11

I have the same problem, see also Issue 574 (sorry, saw that first, so replied 
there, but is same problem IMHO).
