could not convert internal zip file name to MBCS #585

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.i go through all steps and when i hit restore i get an error message that 
says could not convert internal zip file name to MBCS (Code 5)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
i get the error message everytime

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
3.0.1 on windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.
using a sandisk cruzer 2gb

I'm getting the same error.  I have tried two different jump drives.
