newbie. unresponsive remote #590

hi i just download atvusb
sticked it into my apple tv 1gen
looks like everything installed.
removed the usb stick unplugged then plugged power,
apple tv restarts then im unable to use the remote (wht)
battery is full
amber light is showing cant navigate to none of the menu's 
please help!

hoje neste mesmo horario, o meu controle também parou de responder, para 
voltar a funcionar tive que efetuar um RESET na AppleTV Gen1. após reboot e 
reconfiguracão o Remote Control voltou a funcionar.
