can't login as root #591

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. can ssh as frontrow
2. can't su or sudo (or login as root)
3. have tried alpine, dottie, itunes passwd, 1234, 0000, password, passwd

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
ATV1 on 3.0.1
