What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. making patchstick (intel imac - lacie usbstick)
2. boot ATV from stick
3. download launcher & XBMC

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
i expect to be able to install boxee but it gives an error. Also 3rd party apps
in XBMC don't seem to work

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
apple tv 1 3.0.2

Please provide any additional information below.

Hi,

It seems I have exact the same issue here.

1. Created a usb stick without any problems
2. Updated XBMC and Launcher without any problems
3. Error on updating and running boxee

Copied the launcher package to the ATV by SSH and execueted it again. Same
issue.

Any clues?

boxee removed all their desktop downloads and that broke the ability to load
boxee on the atv1... Sorry, game over for boxee on the atv1.

That's bad news. Is there no way to install boxee in any other way? Manually?

Nope, but you can always ask boxee on their forums.
