No network connectivity - Ran Patchstick on wrong version #627

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Created Patchstick for original Apple TV version 3.x
2. Ran Patchstick on Apple TV running 1.x (my mistake)
3. Rebooted. XBMC and Boxee not visible
4. Attempted Apple TV update. Failed because could not get WiFi/Ethernet 
connection
5. Did factory restore
6. Attempted Apple TV update again. Failed again because could not get 
WiFi/Ethernet. WiFi shows SSID but does not connect, even on open WiFi. 
Ethernet connection forces AppleTV into crash/reboot cycle. 

Any suggestions? Thx

Apparently it's a Software 1.x issue of rebooting when connected to the 
internet. I followed 72Devilz advice here and was able to update to 3.02.
