Thanks for your PR :-) We tried it out. It certainly prevents the existing problem however, the mouse capture is "released" as soon as it leaves the component. Our preference would be for the mouse to remain captured, even outside the component. Will hold this open until we can get time to address it using (possibly) the dmm-tracker library (which does a good job of mouse capture).
