Like the teal colour?

I was thinking like this. With the dark blue as the background, the teal and the white as the foreground. You could throw in a medium grey and the dark teal to give you more colors -- and that touch of orange is good, but it would have to be used rarely. Maybe for text in quotes on something.

Here are two more shots. The dark version has a nice dark grey in there you could use. And the light version could be used to make a light version of the theme.
