From what I can see, they do support direct connections but are lacking some features atm. We can go with that if it's the only way to open the IDE directly from the CLI and rely on them to support this method fully at a later point.

Just a note for further contributions. Until Zed resolves all issues with directly opening an SSH workspace, please hold off on opening PRs.
The Zed IDE remote development is still in alpha. If there are no radical changes, we can implement it in the same way as VS Code.

If the SSH connection can be set via the Zed CLI, we could solve this similarly to VS Code.
