Initial create

I have:

• Forked the Sparkbox "gulp-starter" to the "daytonweb" account
• Cloned "gulp-starter" to my local machine
• Created an initial build of "gulp-starter" to get the \build folder
• Created a "daytonweb.github.io" repo for the GitHub Page
• Added the \build folder (output from the "gulp-starter")

Issue:

• GitHub throws a 404 error with the redirect in the index.html page that "gulp-starter" creates
• I have commented the "window.location" in the index.html page (just to get content)
• Each time you 'gulp' and build you need to re-add the git init and origin to the \build folder:

  git init git remote add origin https://github.com/daytonweb/daytonweb.github.io.git

Quick question.

All this Gulp, gulp-starter \build folder is foreign voodoo for me.

Do I need to use all that stuff or can I just create simple HTML, CSS/Sass, Images folders (a.k.a. HTML mockups) and hand them over to you so you can do your Voodoo Gulp + GitHub thing?

I found the reason for the 404 error. GitHub uses Jekyll by default. Files with leading underscores "_" are ignored by Jekyll. To disable Jekyll functionality a .nojekyll file needs to be at the root folder.
