I haven't been able to find a straightforward answer to this question. Is the DazToC4D Bridge compatible with R25?

danielbui78 commented 2 years ago

Yes. It will work with R25. Please let me know where you were checking, so I may update those places with more clear information. Thanks!

I've checked under Extensions and every dropdown on the menu bar. I don't see where I can import from Daz.

I have also just done a complete restart of my laptop with the same results.

Did you read the instructions yet? The menus have changed: https://github.com/daz3d/DazToC4D#3-how-to-use Also, did you actually install the C4D component? Please see the installation instructions.

I have read and followed the instructions. Still no luck. How do I uninstall the bridge (both the DAZ and C4D parts) and start again? I installed it through DAZ Central and cannot find a way to remove it.

In Daz Central main screen, click the "Launch" link underneath DazToC4D. This opens up the Daz To C4D page. When you hover over the "Open" button, you will see a down arrow. Click the down arrow and you will see an Uninstall option.

Other things to keep in mind:

  1. Make sure you remove any old DazToC4D plugins which may be in a Plugins subfolder in the C4D program folder.
  2. Make sure you place a checkmark in the custom plugins path entry that you add into C4D.
  3. When the C4D plugin is correctly installed into the custom plugins folder, you will see a DazToC4D folder directly inside the plugins folder, ex: "\plugins\DazToC4D"
