Hi, @AnriEU, please post the <UnrealProject>.log file located in your \<UnrealProject>\Saved\Logs\ folder.

  • Did you start a new project with Unreal 5.4.0 or are you trying to migrate an existing project that was created with an older version of Unreal?
  • Can you post screenshots of the error message?
  • Can you post screenshots of your \UnrealProject>\plugins\DazToUnreal\ folder?

New project with Unreal 5.4.0

Enabling the ML Deformer Framework plugin fixed the problem. Thanks!

I can confirm I currently get the same issue:

"Plugin 'DazToUnreal' failed to load because module 'DazToUnreal' could not be loaded. There may be an operating system error or the module may not be properly set up."

This I did first with an existing project upgrading from 5.3 to 5.4 and swapping out the plugin with the latest version for 5.4 posted above, but I just doubly confirmed that this same error happens even on a blank project which you add the plugin to for the first time. It renders a 5.4 project unopenable so long as the most recent DazToUnreal plugin is in.

1 2 3 4 Hi, I also had the "Unable to load module" problem at first. Then I watched the video and I deleted the DazToUnreal plugin that I had previously installed, and re-installed it again following the video. The steps were as per the video tutorial. I finished the installation without any prompts, however, there is no DazToUnreal folder in my project. May I ask what is going on? Please help. Thanks! I speak Chinese, I don't know English, I used Google Translate. I hope you can read my question. Thank you!
