Mechanics: Menial, Contentment

• [ ] Menial: Cards that utilize encounter stats and effects as fuel to harness the effects of specific cards Allows for adaptability when you need it the most. Contentment: Used as an alternative to confidence, so torments won't eat away at your prime energy source!
• [ ] Learning: A lil' joke tag I made for the recurrence understanding card! Basically anything that relies on the actions of previous actions or a torment.

Effect: deal :interpretation: x :confidence:

I don't know what ^this^ means? Deal as much interpretation as your confidence? If so, this already exists with card "Towering Presence"

While using pathos for effects is cute in a few cards, I don't want you to use more than 1-2 times at most. Pathos is not immediately visible in the ordeal GUI and this will force people to keep checking their pathos popup to ensure they have enough left for next ordeal etc. To make pathos properly usable in ordeals, I would need to make it always clearly visible in the ordeal UI and that would cram up and already busy UI and make an already complex game even more so.

Generally, Pathos == Journal stuff. It's ok if some cards increase or decrease it in moderation, but they should not using it as a cost. There's plenty other mechanics we can use before we reach that point.
