I feel obligated to tell you that these code are not tested with a real aircraft as I don't have mine available. But I think they should work.

I'm going to close this now - because I had to hand merge the changes in rather than merge the pull request itself (code bases had diverged just a little too much for a merge).

Sorry that I can't just merge it and many thanks for the code.

It looks like this will be present in 1.5.1 beta 16.
