When entering data, adding the 'representative point’ to the built-in maps is not intuitive.
Can we add instructions on how to add a point at a specific location. At the moment the best way to do this is to 'draw a marker’ in roughly the correct area on the map, then re-write over the coordinates that appear in the comment box.
After writing over the coordinates in the comment box the map does not update automatically so the user will not know if they have correctly entered the location data until they press the submit button.
What problem will this feature solve? It will prevent user confusion
Which user group is likely to use it? Everyone entering data
Which workflow will benefit from it? -->
Feature
Maybe add a little sentence saying that the user needs to add a point to the map first, then they can write over the coordinates?
Can the map auto-update to show the new coordinates once they have been entered into the text box below it?
