Operations like add and delete columns #230

I just setup cloudbeaver with a mysql database in docker. Everythings working, I can connect and view and edit my data.

My question is, how can I edit columns? How can I export several tables? (like a database dump)

Like in the picture above I can select several columns (same for tables on scheme level), but how can I actually do things like adding new columns, deleting new columns, exporting the data etc.? Seems like doing something with the selected items is not implemented yet, or I am just too dumb to find out how to do something with it.

You right we are not yet implemented that functional

serge-rider commented 3 years ago

Yep, it is not there yet. It is planned in the next major versions (metadata editor similar to the desktop product).

Any news about this?

If my first impressions on cloudbeaver was good (tabs, darkthem, docker image…) and I hope to have one web client to my mariadb and postgresql databases management, I was very disappointed that

  1. export add/edit column
  2. export table + datas or all database

was not available.

Thank you for the interest in CloudBeaver. Unfortunately, we do not plan to implement column editing until at least the end of the year.

dekke046 commented 1 year ago

@kseniaguzeeva, is this still part of development or completely dropped?

MarinaVorobeva21 commented 1 year ago

Hello @dekke046, it is not completely dropped, but this task is in the long-term plans for our team. Thank you for your interest in CloudBeaver.

EvgeniaBzzz commented 10 months ago

Hi! We definately want to implement this feature, but unfortunately we can't set a time frame yet.
