DBeaver is an Eclipse RCP application. We use Eclipse IDE to download all the dependencies and generate the dev properties. That being said, we recently developed a new tool that does all of the wiring instead of Eclipse. I haven't adapted this VSCode workspace yet, but I will do so in the near future.
