UI: find optimum board size for strategic play

(putting in separate issue from randomizing starting blob size issue.)

current board size in blob-units (not pixels) set at 20.

maybe try 30?  don't want to expand board too much since i think once the
AP limits are imposed, and moving is strapped down, the board will seem
less cramped than right now.

board adjusted to 40x40 and starting positions set relative to size.  how do we 
like
40x40?  

until i get AP going it's rather hard to tell what's far enough / too far.
