Style of swash capitals #8

I don’t understand why you chose these forms for your swash capitals – they look more like a modern hand font (maybe Lucida Handwriting) while I would expect something more traditional – I know there are Granjon designs.

I adopted this font, as a fork from an upstream which is no longer published under a libre license. Then I did make some slight extensions. But I didn't choose this. Right now, I am working on a new font, Salieri, which I hope will be of better quality once it is finished, and which, if it ever gets swash capitals, will get them according to some historically-rooted standard, most likely, though we are nowhere near that.

Thank you for the explanation. I didn’t want to demand anything, it just puzzled me. Of course I could fork the project if I wanted to change it – but my font design skills are near zero while my standards are quite high...
