The build is failing installing dependencies that were on the original code... some other pull request seems with no activity, is this gem still supported?

Looks like ruby_dep is not building anymore on ruby 1.9.3 and listen 3.1.3 is not working under ruby 2.2.3, hence the errors, I see two different approaches:

Try to install dependencies with old versions making it compatible for all versions
Make the gem available just for last ruby version

I can manage any of the modifications but I need to know if @dblessing "The repository owner" will merge the changes so my effort is worth since this seems a bit abandoned from 2015...
