We already support conversion of units in the purchase list but the dish is printed as it is for the actual cook.
Most probably if the number of servings is far lower or higher than in the recipe it's likely that the numbers are hard to read, e.g. 10000g or 0.001kg.
Conversion of dish ingredients should not harm existing purchase list items because the actual amount is equivalent.
