Lower quality for img2img #24

Open ulysses500 opened 1 year ago

The images generated with tomesd have lower quality with img2img, using a ratio of 0.6.

Do you know why?

Hi, do you mean that the content of the image is the same but you get lower quality results, or do you mean that there are noticeable artifacts that ruin the image?

If it's the former case, that's expected. ToMe speeds up generation by doing less work, which comes with some accuracy penalty (with more penalty for higher ratios). If it's the latter, maybe you can set use_rand=False. That option leads to artifacting for some users.

It is the former case because the images look less realistic in general.

Apart from the ratio, can a parameter be fine-tuned to avoid this?

By the way, it would be great if you add some info about the different parameters on the main page.
