No video for mono GB games (specific situation)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start VBA GX 2.0.1, and then start any game
2. Hit the Home button, then Game Settings, and then hit Video. Check that 
'Colorize Mono GB' is set to Off; if it is, skip step 3.
3. Change that option from On to Off and then restart emulator.
4. Start a mono GB game (like Tetris, Super Mario Land, or Mega Man: Dr. 
Wily's Revenge).

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Totally black screen, although I still hear audio in the back. When 
'Colorize Mono GB' is on, I do get video, but some games have problems 
such as a glitchy fadeout or the blinking background (see Issue 96).

Does this issue occur on VBA-M r781 (http://vba-m.ngemu.com/vbam/
vbacompiles/msvc2008/VisualBoyAdvance781.7z)? If so, please report the 
issue to the VBA-M forum.

What version of the product are you using? On GameCube or Wii?

I have no problems with GB games with Super Game Boy colors, GBC games, or 
GBA games.

I reiterate... there were no problems with mono GB games in 1.0.9. I 
wonder if 'Colorize Mono GB' has something to do with it?

next 
version.
