"Match Wii Game" Controls problem zelda the minish cap #258

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. open VBAGX 
2. open Zelda Minish Cap Rom 
3. Get Kinstones 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I am suppose to be able to press d-pad left to fuse kinstones with
characters in the game. but when I press it nothing happens. 

Does this issue occur on VBA-M r781
(http://vba-m.ngemu.com/vbam/vbacompiles/msvc2008/VisualBoyAdvance781.7z)?
If so, please report the issue to the VBA-M forum.

What version are you using? On GameCube or Wii?
Newest version 2.1.5

Are you using the official build (from the downloads page or auto-update)?

also the left d-pad does nothing on the title screen of Minish cap
