Another option is "PROVIM: PRivate PROtest Verification IMproved". Maybe this is more suitable for a follow-up paper.

I changed the title to reflect that it's the count/participation that's verifiable. Here are some more acronym suggestions. I think I like crocus best. There is a paper published in AsiaCCS 2009 that uses the name Crocus.

Something along the lines of "How to cryptographically count crowds" or "The cryptographer's approach to counting crowds"? Teasing title.
