Leaving No Sleep activated all the time #42

Hello Pavel. What a great little piece of code you have created. I use it here
in the US on my min-2009 Macbook Pro. I also noticed the "Start No Sleep" box
doesn't stay ticked, but that's no problem, as it does survive a restart.

My question, which I know you've addressed to some degree elsewhere, regards
leaving No Sleep activated all the time, especially on AC. My reason is this:
prior to installing Lion on my MBP, and when waking from sleep, the fans always
defaulted to their slowest speed (at least on my Mac) of around 1900-2000 RPM.
With Lion, whenever the computer is put to sleep, whether for a minute or for
all night, the fans immediately ramp up to approximately 2780 RPM, then fairly
quickly ramp back down to the idle speed of around 2000 again. This does not
have to do with my system, as I tried it on a "virgin" Lion good drive, and the
results are precisely the same.

A computer engineer I know said it probably has to do with the older SMC system
of my Mac being told to do something different by the newer Lion cooling
protocols. It's not really a problem, but since leaving No Sleep on all a the
time prevents the rise and fall of the fans, I figure it's a bit less "wear and
tear" on them.

Attached is an iStat Pro snapshot of my MBP, with only Safari open as I write,
with temperatures and fan speeds.

Thanks for your advice.

Ric
