So I've encountered this started with recent pip updates. Not sure how to work around it. Only this api module is affected from what I can tell.

Hmm, I don't think this is (directly) caused by tvdb_api as I don't recall it ever using the ordered_dict module

If this is still an issue, could you reopen and include the full traceback/error message?
