'%2.0f' % 1 should return ' 1', not '1.'

The %f sprintf format is broken in general. I'm working on a fix.

Fix attached. It's still missing the test; if anybody wants to write one, that 
would
be awesome (a patch submission for RSpec would be even nicer).
