Is this what is missing for automatic thumbnail creation in nautilus?

The link above is still what's listed at https://xfce.readthedocs.io/en/latest/core/tumbler/index.html, however the page does not exist anymore.

I think it was moved to https://wiki.gnome.org/Attic/DraftThumbnailerSpec

I wonder if this spec is dead (and is now an XFCE-specific protocol), or if it was moved to some other place?
