MQTT Server #1

I'm curious about which MQTT Server will use the camera. Are you re-using a server (like Mosquitto add-on) in the same HA server?

Will be feasible to host an smaller unauthenticated mqtt server in the same addon?

This add-on is not using the mqtt capabilities of the camera. It would be perfect to build in a small unauthenticated broker, the issue is that it would try to use the same port as the mosquitto add-on and one of them wouldn't work. If you have any workaround (except changing the mosquitto port and configuring all other devices), I'll gladly try it out!

Nice, I didn't know that was possible, I thought was a requirement to have the MQTT up&running. I'm currently dumped in a lot of things and I've paused my config of these cameras, but I'm working in making my whole house work off-cloud I'll continue working on it at some point.

BTW, you can still send commands to turn on the IR mode, reboot, etc via the UI of this addon (without an mqtt broker). To my disappointment, my cameras don't actually have ir leds...
