fix #315 - gaps in statistic data #325

It seems there are no fake data points for statistic data (anymore?) so I have removed fake data point handling for it.

@dbuezas any idea why CI failed before I dive into it?

To be honest the ci file came with the template i used to generate the repo, so you may as well ignore it...

Can you confirm you tested this reasonably thoroughly? If so I'll merge :)

@dbuezas I see, I don't have time to dive into it... I have tested it well and it works for me. There is no change for normal data and statistics is fixed.
