What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. download google cloud sdk
2. Unzip to a local directory
3. Try to run gauth like all the documentation says

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
'gauth' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest available. Windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.
There is a gauth file in the bin directory, but it is not executable under
windows.

Ok, so I found the information telling me to use python further down in the
document.

Overall, I find the style of your documentation for most of these cloud
products to be very hard to follow. You will introduce a topic, and force the
user to choose a link which delivers them to some other full body of knowledge.
It makes it very hard to simply go down the list and do the steps to get
something working.

Also, please separate the marketing from the technical information. Think
bulleted steps to complete something, not pages and pages of background
information, etc.
Maybe have a quick start document that doesn't explain anything about what you
are doing, it just tells you what to do to make something work - without
hyperlinking out of context.

Please consider providing GUI based tools rather than all this command line
stuff.

Thank you for the feedback and for trying the Cloud SDK. As we are still in
developer preview, there are definitely some kinks to work out and a lot of
polish still to be added. We have some significant changes coming up,
especially around making the Cloud SDK easier to use on Windows. Please stay
tuned...
