As you might know I am knee deep in getting AGK stable. Once it's flying on
it's own, I can spend a little time on FPSC issues. If you can post yours in
the google code issues board:

I don't think I allowed shaders to apply to decals, but as you say nothing is
impossible. With the latest source code and the latest DBP beta, you should be
able to recompile the engine and then make the appropriate shader driven decal
replacements. If you have success in the meantime, let me know so I can tell
the community :) Thanks.
